Behance and Dribbble – when you need a designer or just some design inspiration

behance-dribbble

Behance.net and Dribbble.com are great places for designers to show off. The access to designer’s portfolio is great when having a mental block. Like with any designer arena though, there’s lots of stuff that’s a bit far ‘out there’. But some of the UI mock-ups being designed by single designers are impressive even compared to companies that have whole UI teams. I was sold on Behance after seeing Barton Smith’s Facebook Lift and Vladimir Kudinov’s IMDB UI Concept. Dribbble’s the same thing, it just has a bit more of an ‘indy’ feel.
